Hello! My name is Benton Lane, and I'm a student at Champlain College studying game design. I have worked on both digital and physical games as part of my studies, and am always happy to work on any design challenge. I have experience in both Unity and Unreal Engine 5, as well as ability to work with both written code and visual scripting or blueprints as part of a game programming minor.
Though I love both developing and playing games of all types, my primary interests lie in creating fun and satisfying systems that encourage player engagement and agency by allowing emergent behaviors and novel play experiences. I seek to achieve this in my own projects through implementation of progression systems, development of player options and choice, and rigorous playtesting to refine the rules and edge cases.
